The OWServer Plugin for the Indigo Smart Home Software platform (Indigo) is used to provide a bridge between the OW-SERVER line of products from Embedded Data Systems (EDS) and Indigo. The EDS OW-SERVER (OWS) line is a series of hardware bridges that connect 1-Wire networks to 1-Wire sensors in order to be read and controlled.
Note: The OWServer plugin does not require access to the Internet in order to work, but it does require access to the 1-Wire servers located on your Local Area Network. It may be possible to use the plugin with a WAN IP; however, the plugin was not designed to be used in this way. You should proceed with caution if attempting to communicate with WAN-based servers.

Bug fixes and reliability improvements accumulated since 2025.2.5.
- Batches all device state updates into a single call per poll cycle, eliminating a flood of change notifications.
- Fixes dead-sensor detection incorrectly flagging devices with stable readings as offline.
- Fixes the EDS0065 "Clear Low Conditional Search State" buttons for Dewpoint and Humidity calling the wrong callback.
- Fixes hardware write/read calls never checking the HTTP response status, so failed writes were logged as successful.
- Fixes 16 sensor update methods silently swallowing configuration errors instead of surfacing them.
- Various smaller logging, casing, and default-value corrections.
